Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways, Shri V. Somanna, today chaired a review meeting with South Western Railway (Construction Unit) officials at the Chief Administrative Office, Bengaluru Cantonment, to assess the progress of ongoing works and review upcoming railway development projects in the Tumakuru–Yesvantpur section.

During the meeting, he reviewed the implementation status of the Tumakuru–Davanagere and Tumakuru–Rayadurg new line projects and emphasized the need for their expeditious execution. He also examined the progress of Road Over Bridge (ROB) and Road Under Bridge (RUB) works and directed officials to ensure their timely completion to enhance safety and improve connectivity.
Chief Administrative Officer Shri Ajay Sharma and other senior officials of South Western Railway were present at the meeting.
